Yes, we began using the device on patients in December 2023 and have had a positive response from both patients and surgeons. There is no need for cautery or suturing during the procedures. Surgeons commented on the improved ability to get consistent, symmetric results and shortened surgical time by eliminating cautery and suturing. Patients noted their lack of discomfort, the relatively little bruising and the natural look that was achieved. They also appreciated not having to return for suture removal.

Yes, we have videos of the Ziplyft procedure on patients. To access the video, please complete our physician survey and indicate your interest in viewing it.

Our pilot study started in the Spring of 2025, including seven sites and ~200 patients. The product will be available more broadly for surgeons to use in Q1 of 2026.

Fat removal can be done to a small stab incision prior to the placement of the Ziplyft device.

The device was designed based on dimensions from research on eyelid anatomy and in studies our device fits 90% of patient anatomy. There will be modifications in size and shape to include patients with significant anatomic variation.

Ziplyft can be used to remove excess skin. Ptosis must be addressed with a Mueller’s muscle procedure.

Our recommendation aligns with standard practice for patients undergoing blepharoplasty surgery – blood thinners should be discontinued per your usual protocol.
