Lifted Lids. Elevated Look.

You still look like yourself. Your eyes should say so too.

Your eyes are usually the first place to show age. As excess skin gathers above the lash line, they begin to read as tired or heavy — even on the mornings you feel rested and ready.

Most people assume surgery is the only real answer. Ziplyft™ was built to offer another one. Its Compression Skin Contouring (CoCo™) technology compresses the skin for hemostasis, fuses it for adhesive closure, then removes it — turning a complex operation into an elegant, in-office treatment.

  • Removes excess upper eyelid skin — a real, lasting change, not a temporary one
  • Sutureless closure, sealed with tissue adhesive instead of stitches
  • Local anesthetic only — no operating room, no IV sedation

Benefits

Why Patients Choose Ziplyft

A modern alternative to traditional eyelid surgery — designed around your life, not around an operating room schedule.

The goal was never to look like someone else. It was to look awake, open, and unmistakably you. Ziplyft™ is designed for subtle, natural-looking improvement that works with your features rather than against them.

No hospital. No operating room. No weeks spent waiting it out at home. Ziplyft™ is performed in your provider’s office, and most patients are event-ready in days rather than the two to three weeks typical of traditional eyelid surgery.

Local anesthetic is all that’s required — no IV sedation, no general anesthesia, and no recovery room. Compression Skin Contouring works without cautery, which is a large part of why bleeding and bruising stay minimal.

The Ziplyft™ device is transparent and anatomy-fit, so your physician can see exactly what they’re doing throughout. That clear, clamp-and-blade design is what makes symmetric, consistently natural outcomes reproducible — case after case.

Ziplyft™ closes with tissue adhesive rather than sutures. Nothing has to be removed later, which means no suture-removal appointment and none of the discomfort that comes with it — just a simpler path through healing.

How Ziplyft Compares

Open Your Eyes and See the Difference

Creams and serums sit on the surface. Traditional blepharoplasty delivers real change but asks a great deal in return. Ziplyft™ was designed to sit where patients actually want to be.

Designed for You.

After decades of caring for patients and performing eyelid procedures, Dr. Patricia Buehler experienced traditional upper blepharoplasty firsthand. That perspective — surgeon and patient at once — is what led her to create Ziplyft™.

Osheru was founded in Bend, Oregon in 2021 by Dr. Patricia Buehler, MD, MPH and Dr. Knute Buehler, MD, with a single goal: democratize, simplify, and beautify eyelid surgery. Ziplyft™ is the first application of that work, and the first treatment in the Minimally Invasive Lid Treatment (MILT) category.

Something interesting

The original concept drew on real twig-clamp techniques from Ancient Egypt. The device was prototyped and refined on chicken skin before advancing to cadaver labs, and then to clinics.

Ziplyft™ is designed for adults with excess upper eyelid skin who want a minimally invasive alternative to traditional blepharoplasty — particularly anyone experiencing tired-looking or droopy eyes who wants to look refreshed without weeks of downtime. Candidacy depends on your anatomy, your health, and your goals, so the only real answer comes from a consultation with a trained Ziplyft provider.

Most patients are event-ready with minimal swelling or bruising within 7–10 days, compared with 2–3 weeks for classic eyelid surgery. Many return to work or social activities within a week to ten days.

Ziplyft™ removes excess upper eyelid skin, so the improvement is real and lasting rather than temporary — unlike creams, fillers, or lasers, which work on the surface. Natural aging does continue, and your provider can tell you what to expect over time given your own anatomy.

Ziplyft™ closes with tissue adhesive rather than sutures, and the excision is tension-free — both of which support discreet healing. There is no suture removal, and no suture marks. As with any procedure that removes skin, healing varies between individuals; your provider will walk you through what to expect for your eyelids specifically.

Ziplyft™ is performed in the office in under fifteen minutes, requires only local anesthetic, uses no sutures and no cautery, and closes with tissue adhesive. Traditional eyelid lifts are more invasive: 30–60 minutes, an operating room, general or IV sedation, stitches that must be removed, and 2–3 weeks of downtime.

Minimally Invasive Lid Treatment (MILT) is the treatment category Osheru created. Compression Skin Contouring (CoCo™) is the method behind it, and it does three things:

  • Compresses the skin for hemostasis — which is why the procedure is bloodless without cautery
  • Fuses the skin so it can be closed with tissue adhesive instead of sutures
  • Cuts and removes the excess skin

Ziplyft™ is the first device to put CoCo™ into practice, and the first MILT eyelid lift.
